Query:
While visiting friends in Bangalore I ate drumstick curry. I purchased some frozen drumsticks at a local market. They have a tough stringy exterior. do they need to be peeled before they are cooked? How else can these vegetables be used. thank you.

Answered by Niru:
They are usually scraped before cooking (they look green and white) when scraped, and dark green before scraping). I do not know if the frozen ones are already scraped.
