The prayers of all foodies get answered as Tanya Godrej Dubash's Nature's Basket appears in a revamped international avatar. Several international festivals, cooking demos and cheese as well as wine tastings keep the stores buzzing. A first-of-its-kind store that started off at Warden Road, South Mumbai, has now spawned in the whole of Mumbai. This chain of food stores offers everything from fresh vegetables and fruits to cold cuts and cheeses and (in some stores) wine and beer also. Plenty of patisserie... croissants and Belgian cookies. If you're on a diet, you can opt for the fat-free crackers without any guilt. This place also stocks a fair amount of cooking accessories, books and fondue pots. Available in seasonal are Christmas Italian Fruit Cakes, Rum Pudding, Champagne Pudding, Chocolate Shakes, santa chocolates, new range of chips, pepperoni (sausage). They keep adding gourmet delicacies regularly, so keep dropping in. Many high-end products with prices to match. I say cheers to this one\! Remember they do free home delivery only if the order is more than Rs. 300 (only). P.S. Plenty of brand new additions in their offerings now, what with Haagen-Dazs ice cream, Parsi Dairy Farm kulfi, London Dairy Ice Cream, Jamie Oliver Sauces and condiments, pastas (Barilla and more), Dolce Vita olive oil, Kolavita, Borges, Cirio making their appearance on the shelves. Products from Basilico, order turkeys at Christmas, wines from all over the world and more.
