Here's to Napoleon, the original chocolate lover! His love for chocolates has been immortalized by Roohi and Chetan Jaikishen in India. They imported the finest Belgian chocolates from Puratos, the machinery and the know-how from Jacques Vergote and voila! The freshest and finest Belgian chocolates were produced. Walk into the Peddar Road boutique, Paraphernalia (which stocks Pallavi Jaikishen's fashion creations), and you'll find Napoleon occupying centre stage. Napoleon here is a cool counter with thirty types of freshly made chocolates. The chocolates come in two primary variants - Soft Chocolates (Chocolate Mousse, Hazelnut Praline, Pistachio, Irish Crème, Rum 'n' Raisin) and Solid Chocolates (Almond, Pista, Crispy). My favourites are Chocolate Mousse in Dark, Orange Mousse and Pistachio. These are sold by weight for Rs. 2400/kg in ballotins and are superb! You can also try the Cheery Ganache, Litchee Cream Ganache, Grape Ganache. All chocolates are priced standard at Rs. 2,400/kg. The minimum order is of two pieces at Rs. 75. For bulk orders (above 20kgs), a notice of a week is required.
