Review

Walk right into this hign-ceilinged, wooden-floored Cuffe Parade restaurant. No doubt this small eatery gets crowded and noisy, and the wooden tables are too close to each other. But for flavourful, simple, cooked food, served in generous portions, Moshes is worth a visit. This is true of all Moshes. Cuffe Parade, Worli, Kemps Corner or Fort...It is in Moshe Sheikh's oldest, flagship eatery that you get the whole menu. From the ever-popular Chargrilled Rawas with Caper Lime for Fondues. From Risottos to Pastas. Veggies are well taken care of too. Moshe keeps the interest alive by constantly adding to his menu (try Espresso Chicken...coffee beans aroma\!). Generously- portioned, yummy desserts (especially the gooey Chocolate Cake) exert their own magnetic pull. It is moderately priced and definitely worth going for the experience. Bakery counters in these open-through-the day cafes (with international coffees, tea infusions, smoothies), have added to the charm. P.S. Go to rest your aching shopping legs, go for a quiet rendezvous, go for a cup of coffee, for a dessert or an unplanned sandwich and go for the sprawling yet warm ambience of the wooden-floored cafe perched on the mezzanine of the Fab India Store. This low impact, no-nonsense well-priced cafe fills a gap and serves a purpose in the frentic cacophonics of MG Road. Sandwiches, Crostinis, coffees and smoothies are served here. Signature Moshe desserts (Molten Chocolate, Gooey Chocolate, Mud Pie) are a dense, sweet, dose of addictive chocolate.
