Delhi's hautest new restaurant has come all the way from New York, where the original Le Cirque is. The restaurant sprawls across several rooms - a bar, a wine library, a VIP dining-cum-conference room for heads of state, private dining rooms and all sorts of stylish nooks and corners. It isrnone chance to dress up for dinner (Le Cirque is not open for lunch) and what a grand dinner it is! Risotto Bollinger consists of rice actually cooked in Bollinger champagne, scampi, osetra caviar and mascarpone with roasted lime. The concept is that you eat every mouthful of risotto with a differentrnaccompaniment for a panoply of flavours in one dish. Wagyu Rossini is an original classic (some dishes have been invented for the new market; others consist of unchanged Le Cirque originals). The lobster poached in olive oil is a masterpiece.
