The name Edo (prounced Yedo, meaning estuary in Japanese), is inspired by the ancient name of the city of Tokyo and the period of Japanese renaissance. This 81-seater resto-bar designed by the well-known Japanese firm of restaurant designers, Super Potato, is structured around three main areas - the Robata Counter, a first in the country, a Sushi Counter with a stone waterfall in the background and semi-private dining spaces. Edo also boasts a comprehensive Sake cellar and a collection of Japanese single Malts to complete the experience. Master Chef Miyazaki's creations include -Horenso Goma Ae (spinach with sesame sauce), Edamame (boiled soybeans in pod lightly salted), Hotate (scallops), Ama-Ebi (sweet shrimps), Chutoro (fatty tuna belly sashimi), Hamachi (yellow tail sashimi), Gindara (grilled black cod) and Yaki Suzuki (Chilean sea bass). Must try Claypot Sukiyaki \& Shabu. Shabu are prepared at the table by the guest under the guidance of a chef. It is an amazing experience and you would certainly like it! Signature desserts on offer are Green Tea Tiramisu, Rippled White and Black Sesame Ice Cream and Yuzu Cheesecake.
