The showpiece restaurant of not only Delhi or NCR but the whole country has received more awards and hosted more international dignitaries than any other in India. Almost three decades after its inception, the formula remains the same\: rustic simplicity. It has a shockingly small menu consisting of ten non-vegetarian and six vegetarian kebabs. The crowds that throng here night after night pay homage to the fact that they have never let the irrnstandards drop. The seating is low, there is no cutlery except on request, and VIPs and the likes of you and me are seated shoulder to shoulder\: this restaurant has no private dining rooms. Dal Bukhara has spawned imitations across the city.
