1 kg potatoes
1 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/8 tsp heeng

Boil the potatoes and peel when cool enough to handle.
Mash well while still warm and add the salt, chilli powder, heeng and oil and mix well till if forms into a smooth dough.
Take desired sized rounds of the potato dough and roll between two sheets of plastic till translucent.
Dry in the sun till totally dry. Store in an airtight container till ready to use. |
