For the first layer, crumble the biscuits coarsely.
Bring the milk to boil. Add sugar and reduce the mixture to half it's original quantity.
Mix the finely chopped apples, 2-3 teaspoons of sugar and 2 cups water and cook them till apples are soft and the mixture is almost a marmalade texture.
Once taken off the heat, add a couple of drops of vanilla essence.
To assemble the pudding, take a serving bowl which is squarish or rectangle in shape but a deep too.
Make the first layer by arranging the crumbled biscuits at the base of the bowl about 1/2 inch thick.
Spread the apple mixture on this so as to cover the biscuit layer completely.
Pour the milk over this.
Repeat the procedure till atleast three complete layers are formed.
Allow this pudding to set in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.
You can garnish with roasted nuts if desired.
