Easy baked chocolate pudding topped with a sauce of caramel and cherries.

Ingredients

  • For the chocolate pudding:

    180 gm butter

    200 gm chocolate

    150 gm sugar

    3 eggs

    30 gm cocoa powder

    60 gm flour


    For the cherry sauce:
     
    50 gm sugar

    Water

    200 gm Morello Cherry or tinned cocktail cherries (You can use regular cherries too)

Method

Melt butter and chocolate together and set aside.

In a bowl whisk sugar and egg together till it gets to ribbon stage. Add the melted butter and chocolate mix in the bowl and fold in the cocoa powder and flour.

Set the mould in a water bath and pour in the mix.

Bake at 170 C for 30 to 35 minutes.

In another pan caramelize sugar and add little water to it. Add cherries and their juices and pour it over chocolate pudding and serve.
